Description of Process for this Submission
I letterpress printed “Comma Splice No. 1” using handset metal type and ornaments, gothic wood type, and type-high metal rules on a Vandercook No. 4. The cropped letterforms are safely and sustainably masked using the “isotype” masking technique I invented.
