Description of Process for this Submission
This fiery sunset, blazing with colors is a typical view from Kamaole 3 on the south side of Maui. This place, this view, I am lucky to have shared this space with so many. But the most significant time was in 2018, my Mom turned 80 and we, her family surrounded her here. Rare times that didn’t feel rare then, but now I know they are. Letterpress printed from a single reduction linocut in eleven separate impressions.
