"Truth Seeker 4" consists of multiple layers of ink printed on Aubergine Thai Unryu paper. I don't own a large press, so all layers were printed using either a glass baren, a spoon, or in the case of the type - lightly pressed by hand so the corners of the type would not tear the thin paper. The main robotic image was drawn and hand cut into linoleum during 2022 and printed with Speedball Supergraphic Black ink. The repeating and overlapping background type layers of violet and purple were printed from wood type set by hand on my work table and held in place using makeshift furniture taped to the tabletop. The background and texture layers of ink underneath and in-between the layers of type were rolled onto the paper using the brayer. The dots included in the background were created by placing off-brand LEGO baseplates under the paper when the ink was applied with the brayer.
